Clabo, 6-6, 329 pounds, was originally signed by the Denver Broncos as a college free agent on April 26, 2004. Signed to the Falcons practice squad on September 21, 2005 and was re-signed by the Falcons on January 2, 2006. Clabo has started all 101 games in which he has appeared for the Falcons, including all 16 games in each of the last five seasons.

That is something to be proud of there. Regardless of RT or LT he shows he will stay on the field. That is something the Saints need badly.

You know everyone has forgot Chris Faulk OT from LSU. He was projected as a early rd 1 until he got hurt. I bet he will be there in the 3rd. Also David Bahktiari from Colorado should be there.

I like Clabo. He's got a mean streak to him. I could forgive his bad judgement of having played for that horrible franchise.

He was already due 4.5 mil this season. He's gonna want more than that if there's demand for him, which it looks like there is. PFT reports we have about 2 mil left in cap space, with a draft class yet to be signed, so...

The same two items remain if there are more items to add this free agency period....... Roman Harper, and Drew Brees!!!!! Restructure or head to the draft

Clabo was one of the Falcons best o-linemen last year, and this cut is due strictly to cap purposes. The OT market hasn't been too hot in free agency thus far, so I'm guessing that Clabo could come in for significantly less than the 4.5 he was scheduled to make (around half maybe). At that price, I would love to see him brought in for a year or 2.

If all we have is two mill. cap space I dont see how we are gonna do much of anything. Ole Looms got his work cut out for him. Thank God he is the best G.M. in football.

He's an upgrade over Strief. Sign him. Cut Harper if you have to and draft the boy from Texas or Reid from LSU.

Doesn't Harper count 6 million against the cap, even if we cut him? It'd be stupid to cut him, he still has too much guaranteed money involved...

Correct, not much room to do anything as I can see. Gaither would be better anyway, can't afford him either
