Just looking at comp% I do not see Wallace or McCown making it to the starting 53... We are still a passing team.

He must be a GREAT holder.

Payton's scheme...and the number of weapons...and the fact that you can actually get rid of the ball within 3 seconds, can do a lot to make a mediocre QB look like a winner. I think Brees has only had bruised ribs back in 2008. That injury free pendulum is stuck in the injury free position. McCown,Wallace and whoever else shows up to camp will need to start digesting a pretty thick playbook.

Does no one else think that an athlete like Wallace, who can line up as an end or in the backfield, but suits up as a QB, could be the type of match-up nightmare that SP loves to exploit?

Imagine a set up with Drew and Seneca in the gun, with Ben Watson and Jimmy on the edges of the line, with Marques and Toon/Morgan on the flanks. What exactly do you defend against? That could literally be any play.

No, Wallace is like 72 years old. He is not Vick in his prime. This guy was 3rd string for Cleveland behind McCoy and a Rookie.

Well actually he's younger than Brees. The only reason he was 3rd in Cleveland is because of where McCoy and Weeden were selected. They were going to be given 1st shot regardless.

As long as Drew runs straight to the sidelines and doesn't get the ball thrown to him.
