All-Pro isn't awarded for accrued stats.

IIRC we have this discussion every year about not being named to the pro-bowl, and every year the stats show he was outperformed by several WR's that did make it.

I still think its impressive considering what offense we run, the players that outperformed him are all No. 1 receivers and get a lot more looks, the ball is spread massively in our offense and for colston to still put those numbers up is very impressive

Agreed, but playing Devil's advocate, those other guys are constantly double and triple teamed, bracketed high and low and still put up huge numbers.

If you double or triple Colston, Brees will eat your lunch finding the wide open guys all over the field.

Thats true, if my memory serves me correctly I think teams started double covering Colston at the start of the 2011 season and Jimmy Graham had 3 straight weeks with over 100 yards receiving

One problem. The big fumble

How many times does he fumble on a big drive or going into the end zone at least 2 times a year. Plus they are normally VERY costly

He drops a ton of balls too.

I love the guy, and he's consistently top 10, but he's not top 5 guys.

Just me wouldn't that be an awesome Canton credential..... The only player in Canton never to have been voted to a pro - bowl!!!! If it hasn't already been done?

I don't understand that he hasn't been to one Pro Bowl but yes he has the most important thing that ring.
