never liked the trade myself. i always thought the dire need to get a first round running back never made sense and still does not to me. but it is done and so be it.

I can understand where they were coming from. We had a shortage of backs that year and I believe we were down to one healthy by the end of that Seahawk wild-card game?

So at the time it made a little sense...

yeah we took the risk and it yet has to pay off as we wish. But as we said before in various threads the blame is not with him. the bulk of the blame is with the saints organization themselves.
