How can we be favored?
 

The Saint's open up as a 7.5 point favorite over the 49ers. I just don't see that. The Falcons were lucky to beat the 49ers, so I guess the odds makers are saying we are still better than Atlanta and the 49ers. Stop the presses on that one.

actually check this theory out. I have a friend of mine who makes a living every year betting on one game a week. The Idea is that the Vegas odds makers will give you a freebee... to get you and everyone betting. To intice you to place more than one bet, hell you might as weill while you placing the freebee bet right. He does some reseach and then spends 3-4 hours ouside his betting place in Cali. asking everyone he sees who they like in certain games and BAM he finds the one gem. Bet against what everyone says who will win.

Something here tells me the freebee of the week is take New Orleans in this one to blow up big in this game.

yep early indications is that New Orleans is going to bite them hard, that 7.5 is going to go up take the Saints over SF by 20.

listen as far as betting the spread just a little advice don\'t bet on a game where the team is favored bye more than 3 except for no brainers everyone knew that the rams where not gonna post 11 points against the cards. I won 500 dollars betting that the rams would not bear the cardinals bye 11.

The football gods must be crazy if you look at other games also...for instance. Baltimore is favored to win over the Steelers this week also.

Of course where going too be favored **** I would say the saints should beat san fran bye 14 i have only predicted one score eactly right my whole life but i did predict the saints would beat the giants 45 -7 last year. Also I\'m doing pretty good this year I only got 4 games wrong last week. bye the way i picked the browns over baltimore I can\'t see why everyone thought baltimore would win I really don\'t. Except for Lewis rushing for the single game rushing record that was once held bye Corey Dillon ,before that Walter Payton. anyhow lets try this once more keep in mind an inexperienced qb is starting for the niners. Dorsey is starting.

see this is my point this is the \'give me\' this week... Saints huge over the whiners. 7.5 is low. Saints bitter about disappointing loss for one also whines back up qb is in.

I\'ll know by Friday what this friend of mine is going with...

the first thought was \"HOW CAN WE BE FAVORED BY THAT MUCH\", that is the key to it... it looks ridiculous and obsurd to everyone. Some would say I\'d take that bet its always a close game when they meet and take the 49ers. Everyone things safe bet but its so not going to be that way... Saints \"surprisingly blows up the 49ers by 3-5 TD\'s. THE HOUSE WINS the \'\"safe bet\". They will give here and there on the 1-3 point games but there is one they offset in there favor.

Lets see if we can find the give me game next week as well...
