Re: Getting Out Of The Division

Atlanta only "looked" good last year because of their schedule. They are not as good as they appear to be. Tampa better hope Revis can stay healthy because they gave up a lot for him, but Brees can burn anyone, so I'm not concerned about them. I'm also not a big fan of Josh Freeman either. Panthers could be good, but they don't scare me yet. I think we take the division if our D steps up.

Re: Getting Out Of The Division

I like what we did in the off-season, specifically Watson, Butler, & Lewis...

Not to mention bringing in Ryan as DC and Payton undoubtedly adding a few wrinkles to his offense...

And what did Atlanta do again? Adding Stephen Jackson may help, but I'm unimpressed with what they did with the defense this offseason...

Re: Getting Out Of The Division

TAMPA HAD ALOT OF HOLES BUT THEY ARE GOING FOR IT CAUSE THEY ALMOST DOUBLED THEIR PAYROLL BUT DOES FREEMAN REWARD THEM! I'm betting on Drew and Sean having a better year than in '11 so that is my hope plus we have a good defense if aggressive but we aren't a roster built for conservative and Tampa 2 type of D So I never really understood the Spags hire but figured he'd adjust to roster which obviously didn't work! As it didn't in St Louis either but I was actually hoping if we couldn't get Crennel or even Mangini I wanted Rob because of his 3-4 type of system his is actually better for Bunkley as a NT because Crennel's is more of a big huge guy manning the Nose but given Bunkley and even Hicks should be better than a straight up 2 gap front 3-4 a nose in a typical 3-4 has to cover to gaps and eat up a center and a gaurd but in Ryan's scheme you have a LB coming down to help plug gaps!

Re: Getting Out Of The Division

It's funny to me to watch Tampa go down the same road Philly did....dream team 2.0! Carilina is the team I hate playing the most- they have our number and use two players to dismantle us- Steve Smith and Cam Newton....man I hate QB's that can run!

Re: Getting Out Of The Division

There are a couple of quotes that are brought up over here for soccer that are just as useable for football.

"Concentrate on your games and let your opponents worry about you."

"Football is a simple game made complicated by idiots."

Let the rest try to sign players to large contracts and bring in big names. We only play then twice a year and even if Revis-Goldson shut down Colston-Graham still leaves Soroles-Morgan and Moore to rip them up elsewhere.

And what did Atlanta do -again? They kept our greatest secret weapon, Smith! If I was to really worry, it would be about the Panthers. It's all gonna boil down to our D. If they do okay, we'll do great.

I hardly see anyone was "owned" out side of the TB beating...
