Question about Stills

Dude looks like he has a shot at earning a roster spot based on what I see on film, but I hear he is extremely arrogant. Has anyone here heard about this? I guess he's in for a surprise when Payton breaks him down! Hope he can adjust that crap quick. Based on his pictures he looks to be self absorbed.

There's enough people in the dressing room to sort out any issues. As long as he is professional on the field and produces the goods I don't thinks its a major issue. If he is trouble he will be cut,I don't see it though.

He's a very good receiver, and he IS very arrogant. I'm not a Sooner fan, but they seem to be on national tv every week, so I saw him a lot. The first thing I thought when we got him is that he must have dropped for the attitude reason. I guess there could be other reasons, but I haven't taken the time to read into it yet. If they can straighten him out, I think he could be a breakout player.

Going by the news/story articles of this offseason... the Saints already have a roster full of "breakout" players. ;-)

True indeed. Here's hoping most, or all of them do break out... I really like this pick from a football stand point (all off field concerns aside), because unlike Morgan, who has great speed and flashes brilliance, Stills is similar but far more polished. His size should fit the slot very well.

I think Morgan will simply be the new Devery, as others have already said. Great deep threat, but not likely to be counted on for much more. If he develops into more of an all around receiver then, well, we'll have ourselves an embarrassment of riches at WR once again.

The locker room polices it self. Going from Sr in college to rookie in the NFL will be a little culture shock.

We've had arrogant before with no problem.

Shockey
Turley
Horn

I know the locker room polices itself, but that doesn't mean he'll turn it around. They'll cut him if he doesn't, and I'd really like to see him work out.

Shockey, Turley and Horn are totally different characters. They played with a lot of passion and, yes, taunted at times. Stills seems very conceded, he's hot headed in a bad way, not a passionate way. He's been the type of kid who'll pick a fight with a player when he's frustrated. He does play the game hard, too, so don't get me wrong on that. I'm high on his play.

Turley ripped the helmet of a defender who was trying to take his QB's head off in a pile. That was being a good teammate.

This is going to be a whole different animal with Stills, but I'm really hoping they can get him right.

There was a few times last season i wished one of our players would have started a bit of a ruck.I though we were too nice at times.
I know he isnt Mr Popular but Steve Smith has a major chip on his shoulders loves talking... and starting pushing contests but puts up the numbers needed.

Im not too worried Drew/Vilma should be able to sort him out.If he starts with the mouth in camp im sure the vet players will give him a few shots to knock him down a peg or two

lets see he screws off i can see some one slapping him in the back of the head like a little kid. if that does not do the door will hit him on the way out.

nfl back ground growing up i do not see it. he cost himself a good hunk of money already. i think he will grow up real fast
