So now Payton personally spoke with Jenkins about drafting Vacarro, and has now informed Jenkins that he'll be the NB on passing downs instead of FS.

Hmmm, interesting.
I think that's because Harper can't play nickel, Danno. lol

There's no history of that. MJ started as a corner for us. I think it makes the most logical sense.

Did you not watch him in college? He has a lot of experience in the slot at Texas...

No, in truth never watched him in college, but this is the NFL. Makes the most sense imho

Jenkins will be a better corner than safety, and Vaccaro is a better safety than Jenkins. 2 position upgrade with one player...

But it seems Loomis/Payton are showing that Harper wasn't the problem...

yeah i was one of the people that thought the move to FS was a good one for him. last year i throw out of the window for the entire secondary when spags got pitch out. i still think he could pull it off as a safety. contract year for him so the pressure is on to do so.

That's silly- Harper gets killed at safety. Destroyed in coverage. Harper has no ability to play nickel.

Tim Tebow was a QB in college, who the **** cares. He can't play it in the NFL.

Harper has always been a liability in coverage.. always. If you think he's here after next year you've lost your mind. He's only here now because cutting him wouldn't save us much money.
