Apparently Loomis sees it different...

GM Mickey Loomis said the Saints will consider moving FS Malcolm Jenkins to nickel back on passing downs in an effort to get first-round pick Kenny Vaccaro on the field.

This suggests the Saints are indeed planning to keep both Jenkins and Roman Harper.

There is nothing to point to for that. Harper cannot play nickel, so it makes more sense to put MJ there.

Has been his entire stay. He got destroyed, over and over in the Seattle game. Over and over. He's horrible in coverage, horrible. Got destroyed in the 49er playoff game, and against Tampa. That's three games that come to mind
