And the 2013 B&G Offensive Player of the year is!...?

Who do you think end the season with clearly the most production on offense? How about in each of the below category's ? The conversation doesn't get intriguing until Drew Bree's is omitted... Very few teams are blessed with so many potent weapons on offense, and the way we spread the ball around its not as easy to stay at the top of production when playing for the Saints.

Who puts out the most production?
Running Back:
Pierre Thomas
Mark Ingram
Darren Sproles does he regain his all purpose yardage title?
Does Tavaris Cadet become significant in the ground game?

Receivers:
Does Jimmy Graham return to 2011 form?
Marques Coleston known as a Bree's favorite, is there a new king crowned?
Joe Morgan came around at the end of 2012, does he continue to improve?
Nick Toon
Lance Moore is clutch.

Who ends the season with the most TDs?

Does one of the rookies rise to the occasion and become an or THE impact player?

There is a lot of armchair quarterbacking to be done :-)

I don't know who will win the major awards, but I'd forgotten about Cadet. There's a bright spot for me today! :-)

I'll vote for PT, Graham, I have no idea on the TDs, and our rookie LT will be starting by week 3.

Sproles with Ingram as Most Improved
Watson on receiving with Graham the most TDs

Can't wait to see the D side thread come up!

Ingram with his first 1000+ season.
Colston will have 1200yds, 11tds and not go to the pro bowl this year either.

Graham with the most TDs, 15.

Morgan will continue to stretch the field and will have 5 catches of 40yds or longer.

I agree that Ingram will see a lot more action and "should" get the most improved.

Player of the year...toss up between Graham, Sproles and Moore, but I'm leaning towards Moore. The guy is just TOO clutch.

RBs
Most yards: Ingram
TDs: Ingram

Receivers
Most yards: Graham
Most TDs: Graham

All purpose yards Sproles(over 1900)

Graham,Colston,Moore all over 1000yards

Brees will go 5000 yards again

RBs combine for over 2000 yards.

Sproles will return 3 kickoffs/punts for TDs

Offensive Rookie year: Stills

Most Improved: Ingram

Alston will make the 53 possibly at the expense of Cadet

Interesting, if Ingram puts up 1k is that due to improvement or utilization?

Mixture of both.
I don't think he has had the chance to put good numbers up with the plays called for him.He is coming to a crossroads this year.Third year in the league, rookie contract will be up soon so he needs to step up to the plate. If he doesn't I think he will be traded next year.

Graham . Contract year

Hard not to be biased. For the last few years, the Saints offense seems to do well when Thomas does well.

But I agree with lee909 that Ingram will be the most improved. He may not get the highest yards/att of the running backs, that will be Thomas or Sproles, but I think Ingram may develop into that cowbell back that the Saints drafted him to be.

Call me biased but Mr. Lance Moore will continue to run solid routes, shake off defenders and keep the chains moving on 3rd down & long all while nursing a tender hamstring.

Darren Sproles is very happy Sean Payton is back... and so am I.

Expect a big season again.

Cadet. I could see him pushing Ingram out the way.

Different style but if Sproles has lost a step I surely can see Cadet giving him a run for his money.

I'm with you papz. I thought one of the greatest tragedies Of last season was the misuse of one Mr. Sproles. I have to think Sean Payton felt exactly the same.

Ingram...

Coach Payton has state multiple times since he returned with the fire from Olympus that this offense is going to regain some balance and he's got to allow his backs to gain a rhythm...

A little of both I think, but I think mostly utilization. He needs carries. He will always be a question mark until we commit the majority of the running snaps to him. Then we will know what he is really made of. We will also find out weather or not that Ivory trade was as good as it looks right now.
Anyhow I think Grahams receiving yards go down because Watson will split a lot with him and can catch very well too. I see a lot more TDs going to Graham though.
Colston and Moore will remain THE guys with Morgan really turning it on by the end of the season. I think Toon stays on the PS or gets outright released. Don't know what to think of the new guy yet. I don't hold out too much hope for him though, just doesn't seem like a Payton type player.

Re: And the 2013 B&G Offensive Player of the year is!...?

Ingram can be a 1000+ back if we let him run the ball. The thing is we have PT who is awesome and required in the Screen game and then of course Sproles who can do just about anything. I don't really think it is fair when people pick on Ingram. In another team and given the bulk of the workload, I think he would thrive. If we give him that chance then he will deliver but that is a big change in our style and I don't know that we won't still split carries.

Graham will have a big year when the ball is thrown at him. Expect his stats to drop due to less targets.

Toon and Stills need to deliver something different and could both be very interesting. Joe Morgan is the deep threat and if he continues to make Hollywood catches for 40+ yards then we are in business.

GUARANTEE: Colston goes over 1000 yards, gets at least 10 TDs and as ever is the silent assassin, quiet in the media and once again NOT going to the Pro Bowl.

The two tight end set with Watson will keep both him and Graham busy and putting up great numbers.
