New Orleans Saints draft picks contract numbers are in, according to report
 

The four-year contract of New Orleans Saints rookie first-round pick Kenny Vaccaro will be fully guaranteed, according to a report by ESPN.com's Pat Yasinskas.

The total value of the contract for Vaccaro, a safety from the University of Texas who was the 15th overall pick, is $9,424,704 and included a signing bonus of $5,234,328, according to the report.

Vaccaro's first-year salary will be $405,000 and his cap figure will be $1,713,582.

His 2014 base salary will be $833,396 and his cap figure will be $2.141 million. In 2015, Vaccaro's base salary rises to $1,261,792 and his cap figure will be $2,570,374. In 2016, his base salary will be $1,690,188 and his cap figure will be $2,998,770.

ESPN.com also reported the contract numbers of the four other Saints' draft picks.

-- Third-round pick Terron Armstead signed a four-year, $2.86 million deal, including a $617,436 signing bonus.

-- Third-round pick John Jenkins, the second of the Saints' two draft picks in that round, inked a four-year, $2.79 million deal, including a $567,560 signing bonus.

-- Fifth-round pick Kenny Stills, received a four-year, $2.35 million deal, including a $194,452 signing bonus.

-- Sixth-round pick Rufus Johnson signed a four-year, $2.26 million contract, including a $105,308 signing bonus.

After the signings of the draft picks, the Saints, who announced several roster moves on Monday morning involving players from this past weekend's rookie minicamp, have just less than $400,000 in cap space.

Saints have stretched the cap really thin.

I doubt any other team has come that close to hitting the cap.

Loomis is going to be a busy man this season cutting and signing to keep things in the black. He's done it before but not on this level. There is basically no breathing room. Hope we don't get penalized.

Cap and roster wise. I think we're at 90 now and since we're bumping the cap, any addition will result in an equal subtraction money wise.
