Saintfan, I don\'t understand why you are down on Deuce. Yes he has fumbled but have you forgotten what he means to the team? While Deuce does need to do a better job of holding on to the ball, MM\'s play calling is just silly and the lack of T. Smith this year and the shotty o-line add to our poor running game. I think we should have kept Fontenoe and kept Bentley at G. Bentley\'s snaps were often too high or dropped by AB at the line. :casstet:

Hey the offense definetly improved, but the defense allowed only 21 points to the predicted superbowl contenders, NOT and allowed even more points to the 49ers. I guess the defense still sucks and we can put up points without Deuce.

Hey Gator I did\'nt say Deuce was the problem and I do think we can go 10-6, but we have to be really lucky or become a real good team overnight.

What ticked me off about the Defense is I know you can\'t blitz everydown, but on that final drive. He keep sitting back in a pass protection defense. I was so pissed that he would not blitz this rookie QB. Look what happened when he did blitz. He threw it up for grabs, interception and game over.

And venturi Please Please for a whole freakin week work on stopping the SCREEN..
oh yea and the stupid cutback run. Do we have no one with speed enough to stop that. Talk about FRUSTRATING. There is no way they are gonna win any playoff games playing like this.

When was the last time he played well. About November of last year as I recall.

In spite of the \"perception\" by some, I am not indicating that Deuce is \"THE\" problem with this team, but he sure isn\'t playing well. I find it quite funny now to see the Deuce lovers rush in to defend his sorry play so far. They\'re blaming everyone from the offensive line to the front office. Lots of these guys have been Brooks bashers, so more than anything I\'m pullin\' their chain. See, there were NO EXCUSES for Brooks, but Deuce has a thousand and counting...for some folks.

It\'s funny is what it is. We\'ll be fine with Stecker, or at least we won\'t be any worse off.
