NFC South turn to represent?

2005 NFC West
2006 NFC North
2007 NFC East
2008 NFC West
2009 NFC South
2010 NFC North
2011 NFC East
2012 NFC West

2013 NFC South?

Seeing a pattern here.

Not really seeing a pattern.

NFC West has gone full circle into being strongest division. I would say NFC North and NFC South are very evenly matched but most people would tip the nod at the NFC North. The NFC East has a whole host of problems and is pretty poor.

What you can say though is that the NFC is a lot better than the AFC. Well in my opinion for sure.

According to the mathematical sequence, it would appear the NFC South is due to represent this year. Your mission New Orleans, should you choose to accept it, is to make sure "you-know-who" doesn't make it to the big dance,.

Yeah, a weak AFC is what enabled Baltimore into the big dance. Since 2000 their has only been about 5 different teams in the SB from the AFC, thats NE, Indy, Oak, Baltimore, and Pitt.

There is another element to the pattern. In each instance above the division with the NFC representative played the AFC East the same season.

On a competitive level yes. Though I would only say about 3-4 teams in the NFC can beat Denver in the sb, about 3 can beat NE, and 4-5 can beat steelers.

I think it is the south's turn and have been saying its us or falcons. This has a lot to do with NE. Any team that has played NE has gotten the best battle test, they either showed they can win or learn from the loss. 49ers and giants won there in Foxborough, packers without Rodgers almost won, and saints blew them out in the dome on MNF. It might be NE is the staple of the AFC. And I think we win in Foxborough next year and Atlanta loses at home to them. We'll show we belong but at the same time Atlanta will learn from that game. I don't know why its that team alone, but for some reason the other AFC teams don't have that intimidating aurora the pats possess.
