I just don't understand how a small market team can compete with the big markets for that kind of air time much less football..................

Just found this thread.. The top 10 passing seasons is on NFL network right now.

They actually do have 2011 Brees on the list, he just doesn't have his own spot. He was mentioned on the #9 spot bunched with a couple other QBs. #9 on that list was named "The QBs of 2011"

2011 Saints are the Greatest Offense of ALL TIME PERIOD. If they want to look at different aspects of it so be it but it does not change
the above fact.

Drew Brees led the most explosive offense in the NFL to a 13-3 record this season and an NFC South title. Brees broke Dan Marino’s passing record, throwing for 5,476 yards and forty-six touchdowns. Brees also set NFL records for most completions in a season with 468, most 300-plus yard passing games in a season with 13, most 350-plus yard passing games with four, and a 71.2 percent completion percentage.

All the records Brees has yet doesn't have a single MVP title (regular season); that my friend is a travesty.

Still don't think our 2011 offense was as good as the 07 Patriots. Just my opinion. I think our 2011 offense is one of the best, just not THE best.

Quantitative: 2011 Saints are #1
Qualitative: Anybody can be #1.

The league was also pretty different that year, in case you forgot. We almost didn't even have a 2011 season due to the lockout, but by the time the labor dispute was resolved, there was only a month left for teams to prepare to begin the season. I shouldn't have to tell you how much that hurt defenses across the league.

We do have a statistical advantage over the 07 Patriots, but numbers don't tell the whole story.
