It all depends on how long it takes for our defense to become average.

The Pats and S'Hawks are each on the back-end of road trips and at opposite ends of the country; and we've not fared well in St. Louis since leaving the NFC West; and they've since gotten much better...

As always a real indication of the season will be the Division games where we will have to sweep the Bucs and at least split with both ATL and CAR to have a chance at the division; actually, the NFC South Champ will finish no less than 5-1...

But, I'd circle the 49ers game, that will be the Biggest Tell of the Season!!!

It well tell if we've got the talent to geaux toe-to-toe with Clubber Lang's Krewe and will test our mettle if we've gotten Football Tough...

We HAVE to Knock the Snot Out of 'em in our House!

The rams, we play them week 15. When I see the rams schedule it isnt easy. I see StL regressing because their team changed. They no longer have Jackson, Pead will not be as good as him and defenses will shift their focus to stopping Bradford. Arizona's pass defense will be a problem week 1 and rams better hope Palmer isnt a much better upgrade over Kolb or what they had last year at qb. Then they go to Atlanta and Dallas followed by a TNF game against SF. They have to win their home games against Zona, SF, and Jacksonville. Then it gets tougher, they go to Houston, Carolina, host Seattle in primetime, then Tennessee on that short rest, Carolina's weakness is most defintely not against the pass unless its Brees. They shut down Rivers in SD. Bradford is not ready to win in Charlotte and the best I see here is 1-3. Meaning rams start at best 4-5 if they win four of their five home games, the five days rest will not work against Seattle and a rested Titans. In fact both Seattle and Tennessee come off longer rest than six days. They could lose both. Then its off to Indy before the bye and here come the bears and b2b road trips to SF and Zona. They will have to beat the bears and sweep a improved Zona again. I don't see both. So by week 15 the rams at the most will look to be 5-8 or 6-7. If the saints are better record wise by three games then they will win.

As for pats........this is one I have thought of. I kind of feel its best to hold a lot back against bears to have more ready for the pats. I think that will happen. Bears will also be desperate for a win as I see them losing the previous two games.

And no question if SP has to choose between playing all you got against SF or Atlanta.....its going to be Atlanta. I know we want to beat SF but we want to beat Atlanta more! Can we win both? Maybe we could have last year. But the TNF game we just were too tired and not having enough rest may have been why. And besides I don't think SF gets in next year.

Seattle is on a night saints have played their best football ntm saints will have some extra rest and only be off by three days compared to Seattle's off their bye. Though I believe this might be a loss.

That is if we play like we need to.

Most statistics about predictions show the vast majority of people who predict the outcome of sporting events are often wrong. Might as well read the horoscope. About the same %

Re: 2013 Season Projection ... Obviously By An Idiot

I am just ready for some football! I feel mad about the last year and I think all of our players are also. They are not going to leave anything on the field this year. Think our chances are good to win another title. I would be happy with 10 or more wins peaking at the right time and bringing home the Trophy one more time. We owe SF, Seattle, big time and somewhere along the way need to punish the Packs. Atlanta needs to be humbled.

I am not picking what the majority are. Anyone with real knowledge has to know a read option offense is the most vulnerable to a regression than that of a powerhouse offense or defense without that. Also teams with the spotlight never go to the sb. The three NFC teams that made the biggest important moves behind SF/Sea without having the spotlight are Atlanta, us, and Arizona and all for the better.
