Good stuff....as a youngster 'Sir Saint' was the logo I most remember.

Re: A Brief History of Saints Logos

I am kind of surprised the original state logo was only used since 1985. I could have sworn I remember one of those in my grandpa's house in the early 1980's. I wonder if I am just a few years off in my memory or if maybe it existed as a non-official logo prior to 1985.

As for my favorites, I think I have to go w/ the modern black fleur de lis, the original state logo, and Sir Saint.

I guess I'm just simple, I like the original fleur-de-lis. Second choice is the current fleur-de-lis.

Can't believe Sir Saint is not winning that poll.

I always thought the shield was pretty classy, but what I really like is the logo on ring #2!.

I don't know why, but this thread reminded me of this exchange in the movie Airplane!

Elaine Dickinson: Would you like something to read?
Hanging Lady: Do you have anything light?
Elaine Dickinson: How about this leaflet, "Famous Jewish Sports Legends?"
