Take a deep breath, Saints fans. It's going to be OK. Victor Butler's injury will not derail the Saints' season.
If the Butler injury derailed the season for the Saints, then this team wouldn't be worth a ****

Speak for yourself, Duncan. I'm not devastated, but I DID expect him to make a difference. He was playing behind Demarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer... How was he going to crack that lineup?

The whole idea in signing him was not because he was an All-Pro, but because he is a talented young player who has a chance to develop into something good, maybe even special.

I saw a lot of people in this forum clamoring for an aging James Harrison a couple months back. While I didn't want to touch him with a 10 MILE pole at this point of his career, he certainly was a great player at one time. Did anyone think he would be any good when he was driving trucks, or whatever? Of course not. But it's all too easy to point out stats and say this guy wouldn't have made a difference, isn't it Jeff?

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
