Questions begin to arise as to why Martz is still the head coach.
Predicting the score on a Saints game is difficult, like ordering from 1-800-DIALAHO, you never know who is going to show up.

Well dberce1 I agree with you to a point. I don\'t see AB throwing any TDs. What I see is the Saints managing only 3 field goals. Riley lets AB get hurried and sacked. Look for AB to get sacked aleast 4 times. Final score Rams 35 Saints 9.

This game boils down to a few things.

1. Can our defense stop Faulk, Holt and Bruce? I don\'t think so.
2. Can Brooks put 2 phenomenal games back to back? Maybe, but even if he can, I don\'t see us having a shoot out with Martz.
3. The only other coach in the league who is even close to Haslett in terms of folding in the clutch is Mike Martz. You can never rule out some sort of Martz stupidity to give away the game.

I\'m not really optimistic.

As I said in another thread - predicting this score is next to impossible. Both teams are too inconsistent. 7-6 Saints is as likely as 41-38 Rams. Who knows???

if we could blitz the hell out of bulger 31-14 saints. um since we wont or cant 27-23 rams. um haslett goes for a two point conversion on the first series as usual. worse thing as game comes to an end were at the 15 yard line n could tie if he just hadnt gone for the two point conversion.

The D-line (hopefully) can get plenty of pressure on a very bad o-line. This O-line is much worse than either SF of Seattle. Look for more sacks by Will Smith in this game...

Run D is another story, however. No matter how old Faulk is, the Saints front seven will make him look like he\'s 28 again. There\'s no hope in containing either him or Shephen Jackson.

The Rams\' receivers will burn our secondary all day long. Fred Thomas is good, but Torry Holt is better.

Offensively, it\'ll probably be a lot like the 49ers game. A weak running game with the offense clinging onto Brooks\' arm. He should put up respectable numbers against the Rams\' crappy CB\'s. Adam Archuletta and Aneas Williams are the only threats.

Inefficient offenses and weak defenses can either result in a low scoring or a high scoring game.
