Which is what Pat Robinson struggles with, he cant get a good enough jam on the receivers at the line and they just burn him

He's probably the best press coverage guy on the team honestly. He just not who you want on the best receiver, which they made him do. And like I said, no pass rush got him ate up; and the zone. He looked better under Gregg; and he shows the ability to make plays on the ball.

Look at his performance in 2011. He was one of the top man-to-man corners in the NFL in only his second season, and all the metrics backed it up.

I have a few questions about this defense, but Pat Robinson's ability to play press man coverage is not one of them. I think he pushes Greer to nickel at some point in the season.

Not to be a pooper, I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis is the one pushed to nickel eventually. I don't think Robinson would make a good nickel corner and as much as I like the Lewis signing and his breakout season, I would like to see a better track record from him. I still have a lot of faith in Patrick Robinson and his talent. I am loyal to a fault and I really don't care.

I'm not going to overlook White for a good amount of playing time this year. Might have a better season than some think?

I'm thinking Robinson may end up being similar to Dunta Robinson. He'll make some really great plays and develop into a pretty good CB, but occasionally blows a play that makes you think "WTF was that?". I could certainly live with that.

At the moment Corey White is the guy nobody is talking about, I hope he develops well

That pick he had vs falcons last year was an incredible catch

That's a good comparison. I see him the same way.

Yep, maybe not in skillset, but in success/failure as an NFL CB. Dunta is probably a better zone CB than man, and Patrick the opposite. But you get my point.
