Most Interesting Team?

Re: Most Interesting Team?

it was said New Orleans is 2nd best behind Atlanta.

Atlanta is not better until they sweep the Saints, win in New Orleans (same as sweeping I guess), can win a playoff game vs a competent coach on the opposing side. barely winning vs mediocre opponents wont cut it. They got by with it last season, doubt they will win those games this season.

To be fair, the only things that keep Atlanta inferior to us are Sean Payton, Drew Brees, and our fans.

Otherwise, position by position Atlanta has more talent (on paper).

A monkey with a set of Craftsman has nothing on me with vice grips, duct tape, and WD-40

And I can drink my weight in beer without the need for a golf cart or laundry starch.

Don't forget, they have Mike Smith too...

But I think I covered that with the Sean Payton comment.

Fair enough, he is one of the most over-rated HC's in the business.

Give Sean Payton that Atlanta team with Drew Brees instead of Matt Ryan and I guarantee we'd have a 2nd ring by now, maybe even more.

Hahaha! I'd rather have him here.

Mike Smith is what is keeping that team from excelling IMO.

Maybe Matt Ryan to who tends to lose it in clutch situations.

Changing of D-Coordinators changed nothing either, nor did the hiring of a new O-Coordinator, the team tends to come out blazing in 1st 2 quarters and then have no plan after that, its been like that since Mike Smith became Coach, and its not just in games vs Saints, but all games.

Good points Danno. They do have a strong team on paper. We just have to maximize what we do with what we have. I trust Sean Payton to do that.

Until the Failclowns can overcome and win really big games, they will always be second fiddle to the Saints! I'd rather keep it that way too.
