Saints punter Thomas Morstead is now wearing a ring more precious to him than his Super Bowl ring with the Saints: a wedding ring.

Saturday he married his longtime girlfriend Lauren Moore in the couple's hometown of Houston.

Morstead and Moore have dated since high school.

The service at Holy Rosary Church was attended by several of Morstead's current and former teammates including Garrett Hartley, John Carney, Jonathan Casillas, Justin Drescher and Jeff Charleston.

The reception was held at Hotel ZaZa, where the couple infused some New Orleans flavor by bringing in the popular Crescent City cover band Bag of Doughnuts.

Morstead is planning an abbreviated honeymoon in order to continue preparing for Saints training camp, which begins at the of July.

dammit man! I wish I would have known this. I work at ZaZa sometimes, and even know a catering guy there, who could have probably got me in as his DJ.

So this girl is from Pearland, if they are HS sweethearts... Oilers. pretty darn good high school football program.

Well that's pretty awesome news! Congrats to The Leg and Mrs. Leg! I think Courtney Roby got married this past weekend as well.

Our cake decorator wasn't the best but sometimes you get what you paid for, besides everyone was so "hydrated" that I don't think anyone cared
