With so much anticipation building up as the 2013 season slowly creeps it's way
back into our hearts , there is no team that longs to see Gameday more than the New Orleans Saints. Severely crippled from sanctions of the Bounty Scandal in 2012 , the Saints are eyeballing redemption without the slightest temptation of blinking first. However even crippled the Saints posted crazy numbers offensively 2nd in the NFL overall with Brees Leading the league in TD's and Yards throwing yet again for over 5,000 yards ...

One could almost be prompted to ponder , just how good can this offense get ? And if possible , where could they do it and how stylistically ?


My suggestion ? Feed the Backs , Crank the Tempo ... And NOT when we are down !

Why ?

Easy answer ... When We Rush for over 100 yards our record since the Superbowl season ? 9-1 ... However I don't think I have to pound this topic ... We all know what a Heisman looking Ingram would mean for us.

But what do you think our capacity is for running a No Huddle fast break offense ?

As in All the time .. I watched the 49'er game 3 times I still think we gave them way too much time to adjust and catch wind after plays

We've had arguably the best offense since '06, why do we need to change?

Besides the faster you score, the less time the D has to rest...

A lot of people put our winning on 100+ yard games.... perhaps we move to the ground when we are ahead to burn clock and the result of leading is the ground game.

We are a strike quick offense, when we try to pound we get injured.

I'm not a footbal expert by any means but our offense scores 30+ points per game.
Its our defense that also allowed 35+ points per game.
I don't keep track of stats but I don't think we dominated TOP very much last year. if anything we need to better burn time off once ahead and put games away.
However the defense needs to tighen up.

We were 25th in TOP in 2012... Have not been below top 10 since 2009.

Our Defense never left the field.

Sean will give Brees the reins when he's in the game. The no huddle offense works well for us.
