Tanner and Martin - Early Camp Beasts

I'm hearing these two names a lot, and they're getting 1st team reps. I know depth chart info right now is useless, but I sure keep hearing those names over and over again making plays.

Tanner did the same thing last year, but this Eric Martin (LB Nebraska 6-2 250) kid came out of nowhere. Well, I'm sure some of you guys knew about him but most of us didn't.

Yeah I heard about Eric Martin yesterday; might have been in Ryan's own presser.

Haven't heard much of anything about Chase Thomas or Kevin Reddick though

I have always liked Andy Tanner. I hope he gets a chance to show he can be a contributor... whether it's here or elsewhere.

Tanner shows up after camp and every preseason and balls out

He just always lands on the practice squad, i think he went on IR last season though?

He is a good playee player, excited to see what martin can do also

Eric Martin is a beast for sure. i have a blog on him
http://blackandgold.com/blogs/hagan7...-nebraska.html

i think he might be the reason Thomas might make a switch to ILB. Which is where i believe he belongs.

any ways if Martin can upset the apple cart and make the roster it will be huge. He plays with an attitude that the defense has missed in recent years

I think we may set the record this year for the most undrafted free agents to make the final 53 man roster. Chase Thomas, Kevin Reddick, Eric Martin, Rod Sweeting and potentially Ryan Griffin... That would be an insane amount of players.

Not unknowns but Nicks seems to be stepping up pretty well too, along with Hakim's brother. Maybe HE can hold onto the ball.

Funnily enough, the cowboys cut him for that very reason, because he couldn't lmao

If he can be more consistent he could be very good, I'd just rather not here Hakim drops the ball if he's playing for us lol

Pretty sad commentary on the level of talent that set the NFL record in futility on defense...

But I'd love to see all the guys you mentioned deliver...
