Heard Hawthorne had a pick in the scrimmage. Haven't heard about Vilma.

There doesn't seem to much word about the inside. Everyone is talking about the outside LB'ers. Even though we are thin at OLB I still want to see Wilson on the inside when he returns. I doubt that we will see it but I can hope.

Seems like they're pretty well set at the ILB spot. Just like at center/guard. Sometimes no news is good news.

I am hopeful that Vilma will have more success in the 3-4 here in NO than he did in NY.

As I understand it the systems are quite different. Ryans system are supposed to protect the LBs much more than what Manginas system did with the Jets.

No kidding, he'd be a beast in the inside with Lofton.

injuries aint going to clear this up this year.

If Jr can not prove he is more than a trick pony as a pass rusher and no other dark horses surfaces it has to boil down to either:

Hawthorne or Vilma manning the other OLB position opposite of Wilson. The other will remain at ILB

right now i am thinking Vilma might be the one out there.

If Junior fails, which I don't think he will, you still have Will Smith, David Hawthorne, Eric Martin, Chase Thomas, and Rufus Johnson.

At least one of those guys should be able to compliment Junior.
