THIS IS TOTALLY COACHING = no matter how you put it. The game today, HAZ is being out coached. The game of football is like chess. The Card’s O-Coordinator versus the Saints D-Coordinator. We got the right players but not the staff. The staff is just not smart enough to beat someone in a chess match – NEW COACHES ARE NEEDED. = tellmehowyouluvdat?

It can\'t be TOTALLY coaching, when 80% of our D wouldn\'t start for 50% of the teams in the league. Think about it....
Howard, grant, and youg could along with thomas and bellamy

If there\'s one single reason why Haslett needs to go it\'s for keeping Rick Venturi around. One thing Haslett won\'t have to worry about is any of his coordinators looking better than him. They suck like he sucks.

On the positive side at least Haslett and Co. will be gone after this year. On the negative side Benson will undoubtedly bring in some other unproven person to take over the reins. At least Ditka put a team together whose personnel could get to the playoffs. Haslett stinks on ice. And Venturi wasn\'t Ditka\'s defensive coordinator. Venturi may know linebacking but he sure doesn\'t know complete defensive scheming.

Everybody get ready for the excuses from ol\' Jim: mistakes, turnovers, bad play, penalties, etc. Everything except responsibility for being a lousy head coach. And let\'s face it...he really wasn\'t that great of a lineback either. If he had any class at all, he\'d quit. At least then, I could have some respect for him. Now he\'s just collecting a paycheck and giving nothing in return.

The scheme is just horrible. The adjustments are lacking. There is nothing innovative about Venturi\'s D. AND Rick guesses wrong way too many times.

Who chose these players? I laugh everytime I hear Haslett complain about them. Somebody should do a search for everytime he talked up a free agent after signing them and then whined about their game play later.

In a word, Haslett is pathetic...and the sooner he\'s gone the sooner this team can start down a different path.

Thomas is more a nickle. That\'s why I wanted Trufant & Smoot. I\'m watching Young closely.I really haven\'t seen much from him I\'m also not totally excusing our DC. I just thought I\'d mention that we simply have but 3 studs on D. Grant Howard & Bellamy

Here\'s something that puts Haslett, Venturi and their collective expertise on personnel in total perspective:
Jay Bellamy was a strong safety in Seattle. So what did Haslett and Venturi do? They brought him to New Orleans and made him play free safety, completely out of position. When they realized he didn\'t have the speed, they went and got Tebucky Jones. Of course, prior to that, they had drafted Mel Mitchell to be Sammy Knight\'s replacement at strong safety. When Knight left and Mitchell got hurt last year, only then did they realize what a fine strong safety Bellamy was. Of course they didn\'t have a choice but to start him. But they should have known in the first place. Instead they tried to reinvent the wheel by putting Bellamy at the wrong position.

These coaches have no idea how to evaluate players and it shows everytime Haslett complains about their play. He picked \'em, he\'s coaching \'em and if they suck, he sucks right along with \'em. One of the worst mistakes this team ever made-and there are many-was getting rid of Randy Mueller. Benson showed him the door because of the way Joe Johnson was treated and Tom wasn\'t in the loop. Well, where\'s Joe now? And where\'s this team now? And where\'s this team going to continue to be as long as, dare I say it, Tom Benson owns it.
