To be honest, I'm kind of happy a thread like that exists, it means that someone somewhere cares about the Falcons. I'm always pretty disappointed in our rivalry because it always seems like the only person on the other side who even knows the rules of football is Roddy White.

The thing I can't figure out is when I developed such a dislike for the failcons. I still occasionally pull for the yucks and kittens,, when they play dallas, san diego or philadelphia, to name a few, but I wouldn't pull for the failcons if they were playing the taliban. I know I haven't always been like this.

It might have been because of all that whining from the failcons fans about the Return-To-The-Dome game in 2006. They claimed that the new turf was extra spongy to slow down vick, but what did they expect? It was freaking new turf. Of course it was a little spongy! What did they want us to do, have the chinese army come in and march around on it for a week to break it in?
