I really thought that this kid was the Saints undrafted steal this year.
I'll certainly keep my eyes on him throughout his professional career.

The Oakland Raiders have claimed LB Chase Thomas via waivers, General Manager Reggie McKenzie announced Tuesday.

If Thomas Breaks out with the Raiders, and our Defense continues to blow, I will do one of those Malaysian triple jump, flying kick caning moves and crush Rob Ryan in the nuts...

Instant starter on that bad defense. Seriously, the Raiders should raid everyone's practice squad and get all the draft picks every other team tries to hide. Atleast 15 players to try and develop and build with. They currently have the worst roster in the NFL.

It would not surprise me if he did. Some players will never develop in a certain scheme or playing for a certain coach but then switches teams and blooms instanty. Look and Rob Ninkovich.

I think letting this kid go was a mistake. Only time will tell.

.....on the flip side, if coach lets someone like that walk, what do you think they see in the other players we have? We must have picked up some good talent!

We had the worst defense in NFL history - what does that say?

Though, I'm a little more optimistic about the defense with the switch to the 34 and the additions these past two years of Hicks, Jenkins, Lewis, and yes, Vacarro - we still lack talent in the OLB corps which is where the primary counterattack/pressure comes from...

We all wondered why Thomas was ranked high but not drafted.

What a STEAL we must've gotten!!

Then camp rolled around, a couple preseasons games in the books and all we've talked about is Humber and Reddick and the D line and Vaccaro. Crickets on Chase Thomas.

Now he's cut and we're crying? For what?
