Something is wrong with his arm. He's too old and he makes too much money. If we kept Nix and Bushrod we'd be able to run the ball and it's all because Brees is a greedy S.o.B who doesn't care about this team.

I want my moneys worth out of that contract.
Don't know if he can throw the deep ball.

Is Tevaris Jackson still available? What about Jamarcus Russell?

All joking aside; I bet Freeman could be pretty good with Payton coaching...

If Freeman would be pretty good I can only imagine what Matty ice would be.

IDK, Freeman is looking like the kind of QB that needs constant reassurance from his coach/organization, ie a blankie & a bottle, sorta' like he's never got past the days when mom & dad were on the sidelines always telling him how good he was. Is Freeman the kind of QB that could take a head-coach-less team through a season and win almost half their games?

You gotta' be strong to be the Saints QB.

Our offense relies heavily on the passing game and you can say the same thing about our receiver corps. Bringing back Meachum really just proves how bad we are at that position. Have we even named a 1 and 2 yet? Don’t even get me started about our running game.

Other than predicting that we won’t beat the failcons, I’m not going to sit here and predict game by game like I’ve seen people do, but I don’t see us being any better than 8-8 and then requiring a total overhaul from the top down in the next offseason.

I sure hope my Saints prove me wrong so everyone can bump this post when we go into December 11-0, but I'm not counting on it.
Foundation of a D can come from anywhere. Its what you do with the players you have. LB's DE's Safteies... you put the right players in the right situations and let them make plays.

This is why they play the games.
