Re: ESPN First Take prediction

I read a couple of places how losing Smith at DE was huge. I think only Saints fans knew he wasn't playing that position and was never going to be a big factor either way.

The Falcons have some old players; Gonzalez, Roddy, and Jackson. Falcons don't have the ability to develop players and it's going to costs them. Maybe not this game but later in the season those guys are going to start dragging or get hurt. Roddy is already hurt.

I like Stephen A. and Skip, but they don't always know what they're talking about like they want people to believe.

All of the media hates the Saints. That's really sad

While I agree that we'll win, Skip thinks we'll be 3rd in the division and won't make the playoffs. Stephen A. thinks we'll make it as a 6th seed.

IDC for either prediction.

And my brother, you've just earned the Hammer on Point award!

Not directed at anyone in particular. Are we gluttons for punishment or just wired to commiserate?

We are Saints fans so we had no choice but to put up with decades of bad team... We do not have to entertain bad press, bad opinion, or outright stupidity.

The base assumption is that ESPiN, Clayton, Yastankas, etc.... are either on another bandwagon or clueless. Why read their crap... Spread their crap... Label the crap, crap?

The Falcons are the most over-rated team in football. That O-line is weak, especially on the right side, and their Defense is sub-par.

Expect to see the "analysts" stick with the Falcons until mid-season when it finally clicks that this team does not have what it takes to be a Superbowl contender.
