Just checked her tour itinerary, and Beyonce is in Brazil this week. So it's the problem of the Arena Castel„o in Fortaleza, Brasil, not ours. I don't think it hurts our chances for Super Bowl at all. New Orleans is a great place for the game. The NFL is well aware.

New Orleans is the absolute best city for the Super bowl because we have something for everyone. The historical sights, worlds best restaurants, the aquarium for the kids, a casino for adults, Bourbon Street for whoever ... and everything within walking distance of the Super Dome. What other city has that combination?

Was there ever a "real" explanation given for the light going out?
