Pass Rush
 

Are you guys/gals convinced we will have a worthy pass rush this year? I mean, taking our homer glasses off , and looking at our D from the outside do you really feel we will have a major difference in our pass rush this year and please tell me why. Im wanting to believe, I just see us being to young, and still not convinced ( Im a bit of a Debbie Downer) until I see it.

I don't know. We never really saw a finished product during pre season when all the starters were together. We're gonna find out really quick tomorrow

I fully expect to see a pass rush! Jordan has looked really good in his limited preseason snaps...

Hicks/Foster manning the other side should reap the benefits.

And don't forget our OLB's and safeties will be blitzing quite a bit as well...

As for tomorrow; the Falcons O-Line is in trouble, 3 new starters and the right side is horrible...

If we can contain the run/screen, then Ryan will end living up to the nickname "Skid Mark"

That's what I like to hear Mitch. Its been a long time since we could create some pressure. I think this year is going to depend on it

I think the pass rush is going to be pretty good.

The thing I think that is going to make a big difference is we finally have some good d-linemen. We know Martez and Junior can both get after the QB, but there's a couple of big tanks on the line in Jordan and Hicks and most teams that run a 3-4 don't have linemen that can rush the passer like those two guys.

Our D Line is much improved now, we just need to get pressure quickly up the middle so ryan can't get rid of the ball

Just my .02, but I think the pass rush will be much improved. Thats not to difficult to do since its been virtually non-existent for several years.

It won't be elite or great, but it should be about NFL average, which is an enormous improvement.

I'm guessing just under 20 picks and 40 sacks?

Jenkins played well in Bunkley's place and Jordan/Hicks/Galette were everywhere! Ryan was smacked around pretty good.
