He should have been here a long time ago but a bunch of stubborn idiots could\'nt let there pride go and we did\'nt give too much because with the conditional pick we could get another second out of it.

i think what we gave up is worth it if mckenzie is going to contribute in the next week or so.i also think o\'sullivan will be a starter when favre retires but you are not going to keep two starters for very long anyway.

No.

Did we just lose the next delhomme when we traded o\'sullivan?!?
What next Delhomme? Someone please tell me exactly how many games did Delhomme personally win last year? The guy got put into a system where he didn\'t have to be the man. His defense last year was the man. Davis last year was the man. Steve Smith last year was the man. Note the Panthers\' start this year when then chemistry has changed. If Delhomme were in fact the answer shouldn\'t the Panthers be 3-1 or 2-2?

BTW to answer my first question, I believe that Delhomme made the plays in the Rams game in the 4th quarter and OT.

There\'s a difference between a QB managing a good team, and a QB that dominates. Delhomme is the former. Brooks never got that opportunity.

Will mckenzie make an immediate impact as a nickel back or a starter??
He\'d better. But as has been pointed out over and over, if you cannot stop the run, when why worry about the pass. Frankly two hasbeens that were run out of Dallas by Parcells, who has absolutely no running game whatsoever this year, plunked over 200 yards of rushing offense on us last week. Hell my 80+ YO grandmother could have gotten 60 yards against the Saints run D last week.

So how is McKenzie going to have an impact if his teammates cannot stop the run?

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
