ok we all love the defense after game 1. The final stand and all. It reminds me of the Superbowl run when our defense got turnover at key points in the game.

Now with each game we play teams will be looking at the tapes and planning for defense. That is when the real test begins.

Week 5 - New England Patriots, though going through their own growing pains, still have the coaching staff to figure out a solid way to attack the defense and there will be enough tape by then to it. Look for teams to use this scheme and improve on it week in and week out.

Week 9 - San Fransisco 49ers will be the real test as we know. They will take what New England and other teams comes up with and execute it.

Week 10 - Atlanta Falcons will be the big game. The blue print will be laid and lets see if key adjustments are made by the defense to counter what the rest the NFL has figured out.

Week 11 - Seattle Seahawks looks to be the game that could determine the division crown for us and possible a bye week

So before we get all giddy enjoy the ride and remember the real test of where this defense is will be coming.

Now for the "Can we" list

Can we get key stops on few major third downs?

Can we bend but do not break and give up only three?

Can we keep getting the key turnover at key parts of the game to seal a few victories?

Can we have very few games of Woulda Coulda Shoulda in the end?

If we can do these thing we will be playoff bound again and have a defense in the mid 20's range again.

This Defense will have gowning pains so no bricks in the living room at game time. Just Attack! Attack! Attack! This is what what Greg Williams taught this bunch to do and it is what they do best. So no "Spaging Out" allowed

We allowed the Falcons to convert 3 of 11 on 3rd down, not to bad...

However, we were getting massive pressure/hits on Ryan; ready to see how we handle a competent offensive line...

well the defense did what it could to get the win. over all a pretty good game

offense killed them with so many 3 and outs. were are to thin on the DL to have the offense play this way
