Oh, Wait!

That Drew Brees. 2 picks. A pick 6. Absolutely terrible running the offense in the red zone.

Oh, Wait!

And Hartley. Missed an easy kick. I wouldn't trust that guy in the clutch.

Oh, Wait!

And that red headed tight end. What's his name? Um, Graham? I mean he dropped the ball in the middle of the field and got his bell rung...

Oh, Wait!

And that defense. Let that muscle dude run all over them and #83 catch the ball...

Oh, Wait!

That Saints team. I just can't see them getting anywhere...

Oh... just wait!

(tongue firmly planted in cheek)

I'll give the defense the credit; they played out of their minds...

yep- truly a case of which team wanted it least
self-destruction at its best
all came down to which team would make the last big mistake

And these are the kinds of games championship teams win and are sometimes gifted.

Can't tell you how many times we would lose to the 49ers in the 80's like this and they would march their way to the Superbowl with wins like this.

A win is a win. I'll take it.

Falcons had several games like this last season alone.

You get your money's worth when you buy a ticket to see the Saints play! No leaving the game early or you won't be sure who won.

Tampa 0-2... what a bitter pill to swallow.

Tampa, another lost in the final seconds by a field goal. They're not a bad team just need more discipline and attention to detail

I didn't catch any of the game, but from reading it appears we really really stole this one on the road. It's a good thing though because we are a very humble 2-0. Probably boatloads of things to work on this week, especially for the offense.

Re: Oh, Wait!

I'm still feeling like Drew and Graham just were not the same after the two helmet to helmet hits...

I can't see how Drew wasn't seeing double after that shot, he didn't even see it coming.

And Graham looked like he was out for a split second or so...

And Schiano *****ing because Graham didn't have to leave the field. Makes you wonder if that one was truly dirty...

I said that several times in the chat. Brees just was t the same after getting clobbered. And whoever that was that hit Graham, should have been ejected for spearing, or whatever they call it this season.

They don't ask how you won at the end of the season, they ask how many wins do you have? a W is a W

Re: Oh, Wait!

This game reminded me of playing the 49ers way back in the NFC West days. We would beat on those guys for 55 minutes and make their lives hell and look like we were going to win it, and then it was like they remembered "Wait a minute, we're the 49ers" and march down the field for the winning score.

Today the Saints were like "Wait a minute, we're the Saints," and no matter how ugly the rest of the game was, that kind of confidence is a great thing to have on your side.

I think this is what Schiano is teaching now. Its more blantant than when Jim and John Harbaugh do it.

Of course it was Goldson who hit Graham, dudes a ****ing villain. All he does is head hunt (fined 30k last week...).
If the kid got 8k for his hit last week, Goldson should het hit with a pretty hefty fine for that blatant shot on Graham.
