He has his moments where he's automatic and other times that make me scratch my head like today... Such is the life of a kicker. We would have lost the Tampa game if not for Hartley. I don't think it's time to call for Hartley's head considering we destroyed the Bills. Be calm folks.

Well he's good in the big games so I'd like to keep him around for a bit because the Saints are probably going to have some big games at the end of the season.

I gave up on him in '11 when he cost us at least 2 games.
Hope he gets it straight because he can cost us down the line BIG TIME. Could be the difference in getting first seed in the playoffs.
Seriously wish the kid would get it straight and miss no more because we need a great kicker. But I don't believe in him and await his replacement someday.

The Saints should bring in two or three kickers for tryouts just to send a message. I don't think it's time to pull the plug on him yet, but send the message now before the misses become a real issue.

He seems better outside. Go figure.

His misses have not hurt us - yet.

The lack of a run game has hurt a LOT more & has coast us a game.

He did well after the Kasay coaching/benching episode. Maybe, a personal kicker coach.

I can imagine that " hello garrett, im your new coach, lesson number 1 - the ball is supposed to go BETWEEN the posts, not outside of them"

If he needs a coach to tell him how to kick the ball between the posts after he made the 3 biggest kicks in saints history, he is in serious trouble

Have him practice until his leg falls off? Bring in extra kickers to push for his job? That'll should get him thinking about those misses. But does anyone really want this space cadet thinking?

He's here for the long haul...you know it, I know it. We'll celebrate him when he makes game winners on the road from 45+, then slur him when he botches chip shots indoors at home and pray those botches aren't when the game's on the line.
