I knew he was hurt but I don't think there was official word on him going to IR. Its offficial now. Although we all knew it was coming.

What's the official injury? How many does that make we have in IR I'm starting to think we are the most banged up team in the league

Coleman
W. Smith
Vilma
P-Rob
Butler
Morgan

then
Tom Johnson
Foster
Bunkley

not on IR but out for at least a few weeks.

I really feel bad for P-Rob, this was shaping up to be a breakout year for him. Hope we see him back. I still think he's a solid #2 corner in a man-press scheme.

Well hopefully Foster will be back in the next two weeks.. not sure anyone else makes it back this year.

I'm not blaming the player, but the frequency of the non-contact injuries are a direct result of a reduced off season conditioning program that was negotiated by the players to "reduce body stress".

Makes me wonder if they weren't just lazy and negotiated based on a lack of desire.

Lazy?? Out of shape? Cmon' man! Most of these players worked their A$$ off to get in and play in the NFL! Injuries always have and always will be part of the game!

There sure seem to be many more injuries this year. I agree that it may be part of the easy workouts. Don't tell those lazy butts that I said that though.

Sorry to hear about P-Rob. He still has a bright future.

There is a difference between "in shape" and "in football shape"... Football shape means your connective tissue is as strong as the muscles...

When the word "lazy" was used it was in regards to players agreeing to the shortening the off season work outs allowed by the CBA.

Corey White has played really well this season.
I hope he continues to shins during this stretch of extended play.

White has looked pretty good the time he has been on the field.

He's really looking good on special teams. He made a hell of a catch on one of Morstead's punts inside the 5, it was just a shame the defense couldn't take advantage of it.

Isn't this like the second time he has gone on IR as a Saint? It'd be nice to get a player with a little less fragility...
