NFL odds, Week 3: New Orleans open as more than touchdown favorites over Cardinals

I hope the game is a carbon copy of the '09 Divisional Playoffs game!!

Not much love for the Cardinals.

The Arizona Cardinals will head on the road and take on the New Orleans Saints. Vegas opened their betting line and the Cards are not given much of a shot. To open the week of betting, the Saints were favored by 7.5 points. The over/under for scoring opened at 48.5 points.

Since the open, the line has already moved. One sports book has the line now at -9 in favor of the Saints, while most of the others moved in the Cards' direction, holding currently at seven points even.

So far, Arizona is 2-0 against the spread. As 4.5 point underdogs in Week 1, they lost by only three. Last week at home, Arizona was a one-point underdog. Of course, they won outright, rallying to a 25-21 victory.

If the line ends at higher than seven, I would take those points and wager on Arizona, who is proving to be a tough team. They appear to be a team that will keep games close, regardless of whether they win or lose.

I'd take 7.5 points all day long.

With all of our injuries on defense and our recent offensive struggles (relative I know), we'll be fortunate to win this game.

Take the points. Until Brees et al. get their acts together in the red zone this game may be a trap.

I was more worried about the Saints losing to the Bucs than I am of them losing to the Cardinals.

38-17 Saints

If we play like we did last week this will be a tough game.

Drew MUST solve his INT problem or its going to be a long season.

Ill call it...

Saints 31 Cards 10

Saints
300+ yards passing
100+ yards on the ground.

I think the cards will score a bit more on that carpet. But we'll pull out the win...

Saints 27
Cards 24

Agree with 300P and 100R

There are much better plays this week than this game. Take the Seahawks with a teaser instead.

The Cardinals have a pretty good run defense and their secondary is pretty good. The question is if they can contain Graham and Watson though...

Saints 31-20. I think Saints will finally get their act together offensively, commit one turnover (or zero), and sack Carson Palmer repeatedly.

I dont see us rushing for 100+ and the Cards scoring 24.

They are ranked #2 in rush defense allowing 58 yards a game, do ya'll seriously think we are rushing for 100+ yards?

I have a hard time seeing us get 100+ yds. on the ground, Robinson or PT would be the only 2 possibilities, or Brees having to run for his life adding to the total. 300 by air I could see!! Score 20-17 Saints, Hartley kicks us into the win column again.

Don't knock it brother. 2-0. I know what you sayin', but until our O shows signs of life, I'll take a kick for a win all day, everyday.

And expect the Honey Badger to make at least one big play. The guy is a rookie but a serious playmaker.

I said 100+ yards for the game didn't i? How many total yards were there?

Rationalize all you like. Doesn't change anything. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/09/23/2u7ape9e.jpg

Brees bailed you out, period !! Although I think Ingram lost his job to Robinson, I like this guys running style.
