Vaccaro love

I am totally sold. I had been calling for him to pick one all day. He just gets better and better. I laughed when people were automatically claiming he was going to be the next Polumato, but now I can see this guy is special. He has a huge ceiling and has made clutch plays in every game hes been in. I couldnt find a jersey on Amazon today but I will get them.

Dude is a player. I'll gladly eat my full-sized bowl of crow for this guy since I was very much against the draft pick. Leave the feathers on, please.

Just don't eat any Falcons feathers. You might choke on it.

Every season it takes defenses a little longer than offenses to get in stride... New coach new scheme.... We may be damn scary in two weeks.

V played good, the D played good, my question is did we play better on D because Harper wasn't there, I really like Harper but what the way we played without him I have to say we looked like a good team, just my thoughts!! As much as I detest Jenkins he played well. I'm sick now, leave me alone!!

Vacarro, the rookie, getting better and better each week.
That is what you want and ask for from a rookie and he is doing that and more. Big strides since his first game.
Kudos to him.
Very pleasing to see this guy out there every week.

I think Harper may have cut some of their run yards down a bit. They began to run on us a little bit in the first qtr.

Nah...our D-line manhandled their O-line. We got constant pressure with just 4 rushers...any secondary will play way better when that happens. It did appear that the communication in the secondary was on-point today with ZERO busted coverages that I can recall. Fitz's 26 yarder was the longest pass play, and it came when we were already up big in the 4th quarter. 5 passes defensed and Palmer clicking barely 50% (18-36) is a pretty good indicator that the secondary played very well. On second thought, maybe our secondary did play better without Harper back in coverage mucking it up...coverage ain't his strong suit. How bout that? I flipped. Harper is waaaay better around the line of scrimmage...the further away from the line of scrimmage the more of a liability he is. Ryan (I trust) is playing both him and Jenkins to their strong suits, especially after watching Jenkins in man-to-man coverage today.

We need a defensive showing like today next Monday on the national stage. A coming out party so to speak.

They(cardinals) had several miscues because of the crowd noise. They had many more miscues because of the pressure. Cam Jordan manhandled who ever was in front of him. Junior galette was highly productive. A plus was Martez Wilson gettin a pressure.

I will be the first to admit I thought Vaccaro was a bad draft pick, but I was wrong. This cat can play some tackle football. Outside of maybe Tracy Porter (and that's a biiiiiig maybe) I can't recall a Saints DB ever having this kind of impact as a rookie.

One play that isn't getting mentioned.

Patrick Peterson on an end-around. He is damn fast. Vaccaro was first out to push him out of bounds for an 11 yard gain. Vaccaro doesn't make it and he may have had an edge and a 70 odd yard TD. HUGE play.

Dude needs a nickname.

Heard Gus Kattengell calling him Clubber Lang on 106.1 today.

I like it!

Got a call in to my buddy who is a UT alum to find out if he had any nicknames there.

God no. There are enough nick names. Especially the ones made up by fans. If he is going to get a nickname let it be given to him by other players in the NFL that hes gone up against and owned and give it to him out of respect.

He'll get a nickname soon enough, but if he gets "Clubber Lang" I will throw up in my mouth.

Hope he keeps working and studying hard...he has the physical gifts and football instincts to be special.

Vaccaro and Jordan are playing lights out. All-Pro lights out. Hicks, JR, Lewis, and Greer are right behind them. It's amazing to see. WHO DAT!

K-Vac is what I started using (so I don't have to remember how many r-a's or Cs are in his name) and I am sticking with it... he sucks up plays.. :)

We needed a top notch safety going into the draft and I wanted Vaccaro. Just look at his sports science video and you'll see why.
