Newly acquired cornerback Mike McKenzie will not make his Saints' debut until week six. "He's not going to play this week, he doesn't even know the system yet," Saints' head coach Jim Haslett told The Advocate on Wednesday. "He's trying to learn the system and he still has the hamstring injury that we're hopefully going to take care of. So we're hoping to have him ready for the Minnesota game (in week six)." McKenzie practiced with the Saints for the first time on Wednesday.

Saints: Pathon returns to practice

Saints' wide receiver Jerome Pathon practiced on Wednesday for the first time since he pulled a hamstring over a week ago, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. The injury forced him to miss the week four game against the Broncos. Pathon has four receptions for 102 yards and a touchdown in three games this season.
