Personally, I think we need a run game to make it to the playoffs ( and, further ). So, I agree with Homer, about the O-line and I am surprised with the new CFL acquisition rather than money for the O-line. But, maybe it's too late to add to the O-line at this point?

Also, if we make it past both the Bears and Pats, IMO sky's the limit ( exception: Seattle at home ). So, maybe, 15-1, or realistically, 13-3 again, again, again. You know the drill. If we are really serious, I say we take every game except maybe Seattle and drop one other game just because winning can be exhausting.

I agree about the running game, but wasn't the West Coast offense using the tiny pass as a running game thing? Or was it the Run and Gun or...?

Re: Remanding schedule

I believe that we will crush the 49ers and Cowboys. I view the Seahawks as the toughest challenge, due to both the environment and the possible weather problems. But we shall see.

Re: Remanding schedule

Shaun O'Hara said it tonight on Playbook NFC. Darren Sproles and the screens and the check downs "on paper" replaces the running game in yards, but it doesn't replace the mentality of an offensive line that can be physical enough to get a yard or two when required.

I'd be happy if in the 1st - 3rd quarters, we could bang through some d-lines like K-Rob did in 4th qtr against Miami. Saying that our team isn't built for that is not good enough.

Welcome aboard WHODATINCA.

Yes, the O line has been raked over the coals all season. We've done our fare share here of beating that dead horse as well.

Look, the O line hasn't played up to what we're used to seeing. Have the string of replacements finally caught up with us? Who knows. But to bring in another lineman now probably won't happen.

I'll be these guys get it together soon. At least allowing less pressure on Brees. The zone blocking thing I'm not as optimistic about, at least not this season.

Re: Remanding schedule

The problem with the predictions is that you're setting up this expectation.

How about enjoy the games and how it plays out it plays out. I can never get into this prediction thing.
