It is obvious that we need a new coaching staff. Does anyone hear honestly thing a change is going to happen. Do you think Big Daddy Benson will let him, he does have $$$$ invested in Haslett which will put him in red. If so who is out there for the Saints because discipline is needed hear. Someone who can get them to pay attention stay focus etc. WHO IS OUT THERE!!!!!!

Haslet was signed to a contract extention thru 2006. The Saints lost big money with Ditka when they let him go because they had to pay Haslet\'s salary and still pay Ditka for 2 more years. Unfortunately the only thing that will get Haslet fired is if ticket sales are low, then a change would be made because the organization would be losing money. These games are still sold out and that speaks volumes to this ownership, they don\'t feel compelled to make a change in my opinion. Why change coaches when a contract is in place and the Dome is still selling out. Guys, this all comes dows to dollars and cents.

I\'m not saying to not buy tickets, but I guarentee that if there is another season below 9 and 7 you will definitely see the Dome not full next year and then a change may be made.

I\'d say let Haz finish out the year. Its likely the palyers will quit on him soon, if they haven\'t already.
When that happens they\'ll be lucky to win 6 games and the new staff will have several high picks to use next year.
With the Redskins problems it looks like both our 2nds are going to be high. I don\'t remember which one we gave the Pack but it looks like it may not matter.

I know there are several potential coaches out there that would LOVE to inherit the talent on this team. Add a few of their own types and this team could easily avoid a rebuilding period, assuming they hire the right guy.

What are the odds that Venturi will stay on with the new staff?
