this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Well I guess I am stumped. I really cant think of many negatives. We improved our run game which is something to build upon. We controlled the clock very well. 0 Interceptions, great pressure for the most part. We caved ...

Yea we are 5-0 and all BUT....
Well I guess I am stumped. I really cant think of many negatives. We improved our run game which is something to build upon. We controlled the clock very well. 0 Interceptions, great pressure for the most part. We caved a little by the end but I think we got cocky and chalked it up as a win. I think they learned their lesson quick, which is good. This team as it stands can beat anyone. We get our run game going and we will be a better team than 09 and 11. Oh and protection was much improved.

Bears are a nice team, but not an elite team. We should have won, and though we did, stalling so often in the red zone is a pattern that is hardening in this offense.
We better get a running oline coordinator or we will be sunk in November. |
