I know, I've got several friends from that area who were talking smack...

Emailed a list of questionable calls punctuated with the link of the Solder hold - they shut it...

Even they said it was pretty bad and remembered getting the 'home cooking' against the NY teams...

The part that get's me is the BS defense that the refs view was blocked - now that was incredible to hear...

How can the referee who stands to the rear of the offensive backfield who's responsible for that very call not pull the flag?!?

The first guy on that football zebras was pretty off.

This block certainly appears to be a hold, but what you must consider is the timing of the action. As Tom Brady releases the pass, the defender gets twisted, and normally a call would not be made for this action, since it occurs just as the pass is being released.
The "holding" wasn't just the armbar, he had a hold on Galette's jersey the entire time, and wrapped him up more the further he got. The entire play was a hold, saying it came "as the ball was released" completely misses it. Probably the worst call made the entire weekend.

Amazed after last weekends game Belichick has the nerve to complain about referees' calls...

Can Godhell really influence the officiating?

Read the link in this thread how the ref that got the last Superbowl had his grades adjusted and several "unnamed" contemporaries were not happy with the league doing same...

Would the league give specific instructions?!? Can't imagine they'd be that stupid

But I'd like to see a study re: officiating getting zealous when one team starts to pull away early in a game of the week that needs ratings...

But I've no doubt that in some of those guys minds, they may conceive perceptions that the League has certain markets they favor and getting those premium post-season assignments are their carrot...

Wanted to comment on the officiating yesterday - it pretty much sucked it, for BOTH teams...

Fred Jackson scored (and no, he's not on my FNFL roster), but the Bills made it moot...

The thing that irritated me with the calls on Brees is it's fine if you're gonna call it tight, but, c'mon Alice, spread the mayo on both slices of the bun...

Bills Center, Eric Wood, drew our defense on an encroachment penalty he created by "pumping", or simulating a snap, I thought that too should have been called and wasn't...

And to ask for the ref to ask, and re-ask, the official that threw the flag on the blatant facemask against Drew, well, that was pretty pathetic...

I was watching the Pats game yesterday and man, were they getting some incredibly generous calls again....
