Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints WR Talman Gardner (ankle) is improving from his high ankle sprain. He could return to practice this week and is expected to be listed as questionable for Week 6.

Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints RB Aaron Stecker (illness) was suffering through the flu in Week 5 and needed five IV's during the game. He is expected to practice this week.

Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints LB Courtney Watson (knee) had an MRI on his knee, which revealed no structural damage to the joint. He could return to practice this week and is expected to be listed as questionable for Week 6.

Jeff Duncan, of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, reports New Orleans Saints CB Mike McKenzie (hamstring) still is not 100 percent healthy, but he is expected to play in Week 6. According to head coach Jim Haslett, McKenzie may even be in the team's starting lineup.

This stuff always makes me wonder. An IV isn\'t something that you swallow down like a Gatorade - it\'s a needle in the vein and it takes a while to get all of that fluid into your body. You don\'t get one of these between series... Maybe at the half, but two? What did he have one in each arm at the same time? Stecker had FIVE...

I\'m not at the games, and the cameras generally focus on the play on the field, but if this stuff is DURING the game, why don\'t they A) report on it and B) why don\'t you see it? A guy with an IV on the sidelines can\'t be easy to miss.

During half time and after the game is the only time he would have had to do this, unless he sat for a while.
This about playing football against the best in the world. Then, think back to those flu days you\'ve had in your past, and how you felt, and think about playing football while you\'re sick??? Makes me cringe...
