To me the Saints could have been easily 4-1. Despite a very atrocious defense, they still managed to keep us in the game. The Saints basically shot themselves in the foot because of mistakes they made. Remeber Arizona and Tampa Bay. We lost those two games because of fumbles and turnovers. Eventually the tables will turn in our favor.

3 positives things:

1. Mike Mckenzie will eventually take over the starting conerback job.
2. Deuce seems to finally get it going despite the fumbles.
3 Aaron Brooks is having a pro-bowl year. 7-2 touchdown-interception ratio and only 1 lost fumble.

Keys to victory- I would say stop the run but not making too many MISTAKES(fumbles, false starts, turnovers) is more important especially on offense.

Wohoo, Go Saints

How about we\'ve won all the games that we\'re going to win this year?

But they are not. And that\'s the whole point. The pattern on the Saints is clear now: run the ball, frustrate the offense into making silly mistakes and turnovers. That\'s the winning formula.

And guess what? Until the Saints can prove that they can stop the run and consistently run the offense without the penalties, drops, and fumbles... nothing is going to change and the losses will mount up.

No. They won\'t. There\'s nothing to indicate from a coaching perspective that anything is going to change. Deuce was fumbling the ball in the first two games before he got hurt. He comes back and fumbles away a TD. Receivers have been dropping the ball throughout and Brooks is either missing the open read, or not getting the ball to that open read, or the receiver is dropping the ball on the open read.

What\'s the quote... I think it\'s....
Luck favors the prepared...
The Saints are not prepared. So don\'t expect them to be lucky.

I\'ve seen no indication in any of the last 5 games that anything is going to change. BTW did Riley have a penalty in the TB game? I know that Gandy had 2 holding calls and at least one false start.

If I had a nickel for everytime someone (including me) said that \"all the Saints have to do...\" I could buy the damn team from Benson. Then I\'d do the right thing: Fire the coaching staff (and eventually the front office) NOW!

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
