New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham has a partially torn plantar fascia, according to Fox Sports.

The plantar fascia is the ligament that connects the bone heel to the toes, making it difficult to run without pain. He's still a long shot to play at this point, said the NFL network.

"He told me its a pain issue and is heading over to test it early. Felt better Friday but still a very painful issue. If he can play Saints will put him on pitch count," tweeted Jay Glazer.

Ouch! This is one of those injuries that can linger all season. Sad because Jimmy was on pace to have the best year any TE ever had.

Re: Jimmy Graham has partially torn plantar fascia

I would not push it this week.
When we go 5 wide / spread Graham is just one option. With Moore back we will be fine
