I was even thinking that if we held on to Jerry, he might make good coaching material for us.
I'm not sure what the Raiders want for him, but I'd be ok with having a guy who can generate a lot of 1st downs and keep our drives from stalling.

Only if we get Morten Anderson back too. That way, we could trade in our uniforms for Depends, get a hefty supply of walkers, and ease our way into the championship.

No, really, I Henderson will work out. I know Horn will be gone next year, but I\'m more excited about this Derrick Johnson character lurking out there in next years draft.

Him, and the center out of LSU. I kept an eye on him last game. He looked pretty strong. I know there\'s no way we\'ll get both of them, but dreaming is nice when the team loses (gets schellacked, rather) by the laughing stock of the NFL. Emmit throws his first career touchdown... that hurts.

Back to dreaming. Trade up for Johnson (or down, if our slide continues), bribe Tagliabue to get that center, move Bentley back to right guard, then hit free agency for a starting corner.

The stuff of dreams....

-------edit

Hey, you know, maybe we could get Emmit himself back here too. And pair him up with Testaverde.... oh man, this is cracking me up. My god, could you see the team easing onto the field with their walkers and wheelchairs, covered in bandages? hehehe I\'m cracking up.

im not sure what it would be worth to trade for jerry rice. maybe a seventh round? if that. he is done by years end. but at the same time getting someone who can get on theese guys that they have to know there has never been a greater receiver or maybe player then ever in the nfl would help.
but that would be going back to the problem being a player problem n not a coaching problem. n if thats true n it could be then we r in for a longer turn around then previous thought
i would say it still comes back to coaching.
thats said i wouldnt mind a second **** at mora senior or reeves. although mora has never won in the playoffs he is stilla pretty good coach n i think he\'d have us there next year and would probally win one too.

Your team stinks

Rice is causing problems in Oakland because he isnt the first or second option. Why would it be any different here. He wouldnt be happy here playing behind Horn and Stallworth. You have Duece as option 1, Horn 2, Stallworth 3, and Williams 4. He wouldnt be happy here either.
