Nope... Try 14 inches, 1.16 feet

We're getting that precise? Fine.
Saints 524 2092 = 4.0 ypc
Dolphins 443 2072 = 4.7 ypc

averages of averages are not averages

Seahawks have the cap space and then some. You didn't see the graphic last night that they have 8 players which include Wilson, Browner and Sherman all signed at a combined value of under $6 million. They have the money but Vikings may want too much in return.

averages of averages are not averages

In certain circumstances averages of averages are a an average as long as the averages have equal weight.

In regards to precision, your still not there yet buddy, your 2092 is actually 2920 :) And "almost" isn't quantitative, so your reply about "almost a yard" isn't as accurate as averaging averages isn't it? Not quite 3/4 is not almost 1.

My reply was relatively as accurate as yours but you seems to have knotted your nickers over a player that's been gone for 2+ seasons.

I heard a low third, which for Seattle would need to be a late 2nd and then maybe a late round switch

Nah,did not see the graphic. Too late for me :), and never thought it would be a game anyway...

No they don't.

Seahawks have 3.5M in space Jared Allen's cap hit is 17M...

I'm sure it would be prorated to 1/2 a season but that's still over twice Seattle's cap space.

no knotting here--
to recap, Danno commented that we have had backs go elsewhere and be more successful. Agreeing, I gave two prime examples
Your contention was: "Bush preformed no better in Miami, he just played in more games because he wasn't injured"
I would argue that .7 yards more per carry with an increased workload is performing better

I would argue he actually had more yards per carry in NO, albeit between the hashes instead of the end-zones. :)

He also had his only full season in his career in Miami, also his only seasons over 11 games; so it seems it was a better move for his health also.
