if we win this week

will everyone jump right back on the band wagon. i think i would try not but probally would. but i caution that under haslett outside of his first year the team has never been consistent. if we win this week by some miracle i am ging to try to wait till next week n see how we come out in that one. so we'll see. i would hope this season could be saved. some miracle where this team just rallies and plays the way its suppose to. but then heres my question. lets say we just go nuts and win like 8 or 9 games. get in the playoffs n well whatever happens who cares for now but lest just say we make it. do we not just come back again next year with the same frigan problems as this year. but would i take at least a chance on making the playoffs this year knowing that in the long run nothing would improve in hopes that after we stunk again next year it would be a lot easier to have haslett go from bensons stand point. either way if we could make the playoffs this year without continuing to play the way we have so far but by playing well then i would take it. it would be worth it to watch theese guys in january for once. to get all hyped up. i dont think it will happen. i would probally say were going to get thrashed this week like 38-24. n then we;ll pack it in. but hey im trying to hope.

someone on here called me a moonshiner. i guess i may be at this point. but im trying to hope

if we win this week

I\'d say it won\'t change anything if we win this week. The last few years, the Saints have consistently played well in games they expected to be tough (e.g. going to STL a couple weeks ago when the Rams had a 15-game home win streak, also beating TB twice during their SB year), while collapsing in games they expected to win (AZ, SF, Seattle, TB this year). That\'s the one thing they have been fairly consistent on. This week\'s game is known to be tough, thus I wouldn\'t be surprised if they play well. Having said that, I also wouldn\'t be surprised if it\'s similar to the Colts game last year.

Bottom line, just like every game so far this year, there won\'t be anything new to say about the Saints regardless of what happens tonight. A win will be the result of playing to the level of the opponent yet again, while a loss will be the result of poor coaching, mental mistakes, etc.

But even while I\"m saying all this, I still know if they win I\'ll have renewed hope. That\'s the curse of being a fan of this team.

I don\'t know that it will change my mind much if the team wins this week. As others have pointed out, it will just conitnue to up and down trend of the Saints losing to terrible teams and beating teams that they probably have no business playing with.

That said - Culpepper, Moss, Burleson, Robinson, Campbell, and Mwende Moore (who is actually a real good back). Add in National TV. I would put the odds of a Saints win somewhere in the range of you seeing BnB post a picture of himself in a dress on the board. It just ain\'t happenin\'. This is the best offense we\'ve faced all year by far. They could score 50, IMO.

There is no wagon left to jump back on anyway. The wheels came off a long time ago. Haz is gone at the end of the season no matter what happens now.

Hey Big Perm, I mean Big Cherm, weren\'t you real high on JH at the beginning of the season? How did 5 games turn you so fast?

I really was gung ho about Haz, but he has shown no control over a team that needs it now more than ever and his lame excuses week after week have me about ready to explode. I really think he is gone no matter what happens now, but I won\'t lie to you WhoDat, if he takes us to the playoffs, I\'ll put the damn wheels back on the wagon myself.

I\'m feeling ya. I\'m no big fan of Haslett\'s anymore, but if he gets this thing turned around and us into the playoffs, I\'ve got no problems sending him a Christmas card.

I dont think jumping on or off the bandwagon is the issue. I know I am a Saints fan whether I rag them or not. Win or lose, through all of the frustration. I think jumpimg on a bandwagon would be like people who became Bucs fans after one great year and now are abandoning them when they are the losers they truly are. That being said.......Saints stand a very very tiny chance of winning.

PS........if BnB wont post the picture, I will. I happen to have one.
