We all have a perception of the value and performance of our WRs. Here it is in a nutshell.

Jimmy Graham should be in there as well. I think he may vault to the top of the list.

I didn't put Graham in there because he is a TE, and it wouldn't be fair to our WRs lol.

He is a stand alone

If not for Brees I could see three of those receivers out of the NFL. Moore and Stills could play for just about anybody. Colston has had an amazing career but with an average QB no way. The ball has to be put in precise spots most of the time.

No surprise Meach rocking a 12.5 drop rate. Moore at 13.3 is supposed to be our "hands" receiver; Stills is quickly becoming that, if not already.

Toon? Good Lord...

I totally agree. I do think Colston could start for anyone but he would have not been nearly as productive. I think Drew makes our receivers look a lot better than they actually are. Not all receivers have the luxury of knowing exactly where the ball is going to be almost every time they are targeted.

That's what makes a QB elite. The knock against Matt Ryan is that he's surrounded by elite pass catchers and doesn't make players better... As evidenced by this season when he loses Julio and Roddy he completely melts down.

I totally agree and have used that arguement in discussion with Falcons fans to no end. They just dont want to see the truth.

Are you crazy.... Colston is just as good as ole sore knees in Houston... And Ole Sore knees (Andre Johnson) does.... oh wait ( Shaubsubpar aint the qb no more) did an amazing job with a middle of the road qb.

THE RECIEVERS WE HAVE ARE WHAT WE NEED.... If you draft an A.J. Green.... Julio Jones..... You gotta get that person the ball. NO ball Terell Owens syndrome.... The Chad Johnsonoma!!! We spread it around like we supposed to..

Re: Saints WRs

What worries me is Colston is starting to break down. He was never a speed guy, but he had enough speed. I doubt he will be in the NFL after next season. Moore is not young and has only played one full season. Plus, in my opinion he makes too much money. Meachem will flash and does some of the dirty work, but he's essentially done. Stills has potential. He can make plays. But, he needs a #1 guy in front of him. Toon just doesn't seem to have the hands. Graham is useless as a blocker and it's okay in the current offense because of what he brings as a reciever. Overall, the Saints need to find a #1 WR type in the next two years and a multifunctional TE next year.

Those were Witten and Demarco, who aren't WRs. Murray is kinda like one, because of all the dink-and-dunk and screens we're running, though.
